Akna is the Mayan goddess of birth and motherhood — the ancient protector of women in labor and in the tenderweeks that follow. We named our brand after her because we believe every new mom deserves that kind of care:intentional, reverent, and deeply rooted in love.We are a Miami-based wellness brand founded by a Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, Functional Nutritionist,and a co-founder with deep personal roots in Mexican culture — who watched the women in his own life navigate postpartum without the support they deserved. Akna Wellness bridges tradition and science — traditional herbs at meaningful doses, paired with bio available nutrients your postpartum body actually absorbs.
